Forearm armour by a clubmate who fences in it every week.
George makes armour. He has fenced at HEMA Penzance for years, he makes steel bracers and other pieces in his workshop, and he wears his own work every Tuesday, which is the best guarantee a piece of kit can have. The bracers are hard leather with steel plates set into them, shaped to the forearm, and fastened with bungee ties so they go on and come off in seconds and hold fast in the bind.
They cover the forearm from wrist to elbow, the place a longsword or a sabre finds most often, and they sit under or over a jacket. Each pair is made to the measurements you send, so they fit your arm and not an average one. About £100 a pair.
George also 3D‑prints HEMA kit, elbow pads among it. If you want something he does not list here, ask in the notes on your order and he will tell you what he can do.
